Late seed planting
Yesterday, Fairy Tale Eggplant seed planted. Hoping 3 year old seeds will germinate. I've already got four spots reserved in the hot tub room for these guys.

No hope for old seeds?
Seeds are cheap enough, but in this year of a coronavirus pandemic, I didn't find them in one place where I like to shop, Marshall's Pet & Garden. Too lazy to suit up to shop Home Depot or Walmart, I searched through my old seed envelopes and found some spinach and Swiss chard and shoved them into grow cubes that I'd used once already. The cubes promptly began to grow the algae that had flourished the last time I used them. After a week, no seedlings appeared. I pushed seeds into new grow cubes yesterday. Maybe something will show up.
At the same time, I ordered some chard seeds from Amazon. Going to Walmart today to get some velcro. will look for seeds.

The year of the eggplant
Unbelievably, Home Depot had a Hansel eggplant. $3. I bought it.
Also I planted 18 Fairytale seeds and 12 Gretel seeds about 3 weeks ago. About 22 or so have germinated and are trying to reach for the sky in the hot tub room. They had a heat pad for awhile, but it might have killed off a couple starts. Now I added a 400 w metal halide light b/c it's been so dark lately.
Got some Stupice tomatoes from John. one red Pepper plant from Home Depot.

Italian Zucchini late but maybe----and Tomatoes!
One seed planted in a peat moss disc two days ago. Will it sprout?
Amazing tomatoes! Doing better than their cousins in Olympia. Some fist sized fruits.
And kohlrabi, too?
