chunk of foam to fit aquarium, $5, packing peanuts to fill in gaps around edge of foam.
8 yogurt cups to hold plants--holes drilled in bottom..
Perlite as medium to hold plants.

Red Sails lettuce grew until severe infestation of aphids. restarted with swiss chard and basil. sprayed bug killer weekly to prevent aphid return. Arrival of Spring>>>movement of system to warmer room--max daily temps 102 degrees. good growth--no problems so far.
